歩く国際協力「Walk in Her Shoes2023」キャンペーンには、多くの企業様にもご協力いただいています。その中で、社員さまが団体参加をする「ウォーキング・パートナー」の企業様のお取り組みについて、シリーズで紹介します。

第4回は、デロイト トーマツ グループさんです！

キャンペーンへの参加理由や期待する成果、意気込みなどについて教えてください。

当グループでは、「教育・スキル開発・機会創出」の 3つの分野で、全世界で累計1億人の人々に対するポジティブなインパクトの創出を目指す WorldClass という活動を推進しており、本キャンペーンは、一人ひとりの小さな一歩が国境を越え、より困難な状況にある女性や女の子の教育・スキル開発・機会創出に繋がっていく意義深い活動だと感じています。

また、人とひととの相互の信頼に基づくWell-being社会の構築をめざす当グループでは、一人ひとりを起点とするPersonal Well-beingや、私たちが属する地域コミュニティの集合体であるSocietal Well-beingの向上に繋がる取り組みとして、各種プロボノ・ボランティア活動も推進しています。本キャンペーンは、ウォーキングという個人のWell-being向上の小さな取り組みが、世界で困難を抱える女の子たちのWell-beingにつながっていくことはもちろん、一人ひとりのペースで進めていけることから、他のプロボノ活動や個々のライフスタイルとも並行して進めていけることも魅力です！

Purpose and goals for participating in the campaign

We have been promoting the WorldClass campaign, which aims to create positive impacts on a total of 100 million people worldwide in the three areas - Education, Skills and Opportunity. We believe Walk in Her Shoes is a great way to empower Education, Skills and Opportunity for girls and women in tough situations -making changes and impacts beyond borders from each person's small steps.

In addition, our group, which aims to build "A Well-Being Society Based on Mutual Empathy and Trust", is also promoting a variety of pro bono volunteer activities as an initiative that leads to the improvement of personal well-being, which starts with each individual, and social well-being, which is the collective of local communities to which we belong. What we liked about this campaign is not only that walking, a small initiative to improve individual well-being, can lead to the well-being of girls and women who are facing difficulties in the world, but also each individual can participate at their own pace, in parallel with other pro bono activities and individual lifestyles!

社内での取り組み、または今後予定していることはありますか？

デロイト グローバルでは、国際女性デー2023 のテーマとして【#ImAWomanAnd】を掲げており、日本のデロイト トーマツ グループでも、様々な女性メンバーの多様な側面を発信するSNSキャンペーンや、誰の真似でもないオーダーメイドな生き方の実現に向けて一人ひとりが考えることをテーマにした社内イベントを開催しました。しかし、「オーダーメイドな生き方」というのは、安心・安全な生活基盤があってこそ叶うものであり、貧困の削減や、すべての人々が平等な権利や機会を得られる環境の整備が大前提です。そのため、デロイト トーマツ グループでは、本キャンペーンが「すべての女性や女の子が、自分の望む生き方を描ける未来の創出に向けた取り組みである」という想いを何よりも強く伝え、グループ横断で多様なメンバーに参加を呼び掛けました。

Internal plans and efforts to promote participation

Deloitte Global’s theme of International Women's Day 2023 is #ImAWomanAnd, and Deloitte Tohmatsu Group in Japan also held a social media campaign to illustrate diverse aspects of our female talent and an internal event to discuss about creating your own path. We can only “create our own path" when we have a safe and secure foundation for our living, and it is crucial to end poverty and to create an environment where everyone has equal rights and opportunities. Deloitte Tohmatsu Group invited diverse members across the group to participate in Walk in Her Shoes by articulating that this is about supporting to create a future where all women and girls can create their own path.
